We went to White Bear Lake last weekend. Audrey and I took the Amtrak back on Thursday night and Aaron drove up from work on Friday. Overall, Audrey did good on the train. There were moments where I thought that I had made a bad decision to travel this way, but then I had to remind myself that she's an active toddler that is not a fan of sitting still. She thought it was pretty cool that she didn't have to be strapped in a car seat. She made quite a few friends on the train and even managed to nap for a few hours. We got into St Paul at 10:00 pm and Audrey's Papa (Grandpa Craig) picked us up. She was sooooo happy to see him!
Our main reason for coming back last weekend was to see my cousin Megan and her fiance Queyn and also my Aunt Jennifer. They flew in from Washington and Idaho. It was everyone's first time meeting Q. Hopefully he still wants to marry my wonderful cousin now that he's met her crazy family!!! Just kiding :) What a fun weekend with family. We also managed to squeeze a fun brunch in with a lot of our friends on Saturday morning.
