Busy Summer!

What we've been up to.....

We had another birthday party for Audrey in June with Aaron's side of the family. The Kunkels were here visiting so we thought it would be a perfect time to celebrate Audrey's 3rd birthday. Grandma Ginny, Grandpa Paul, The Bruners and The Borglums celebrated with us also!

Our friends from Milwaukee visited over the 4th of July. Gilly and Audrey went to daycare together and we got to know her parents also. She has a little sister named Veronica who will be turning one soon. They had never been to Minnesota so we did a lot of stuff! Como Zoo, Minnehaha Falls, Snuffy's Malt Shop and a driving tour of the Twin Cities. We celebrated the 4th of July on Bald Eagle Lake and we spent a lot of time out on the water.

Ms. Audrey had her first dentist appointment. As you can see on the picture, there were no problems at all.

We celebrated Nana's 80th birthday!!

We went up to Lake Vermillion to Jenna's family cabin. It was so wonderful. Jenna had her first bridal shower up there.

Anne's cousin Mike, his wife Jenny and their 6 month old daughter Eira came to visit for a weekend from Idaho. Here are all of the cousins and spouses that were present. We had a blast!! Mike and Jenny even got to go to a Twins game while they were here.

We went to the Fairbault County Fair. Leah and the girls also made the trek over from SD for the festivities. The girls enjoyed a lot of rides thanks to Aunt Robin.

Audrey went on her first pony ride. And then she went on her second. She loved it!

We made a quick visit to see the Borglums in Mankato. Allie and Sue took Audrey swimming. Audrey decided that she can swim on her own with the help of a noodle. Yikes! Little girl is growing up.

We also spent a weekend in Appleton about a month ago. It was great to see old co-workers and of course, Anne's old boss Mary.

We have a lot more adventures planned for the summer and we'll try to be better at updating the blog. Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!! Hard to believe it's almost August.
