A Busy Week

Hello Everyone. It's been a busy week for us. Last weekend we headed back to Minnesota on Thursday night and spent the evening at Aaron's parents house. Our normal 5 hour drive took 6.5 hours. It was our first long car drive and we are thankful that Audrey is a good passenger. The next morning we packed up the car again and headed to Estherville, IA for a wedding. Aaron's friend Matt was getting married in Lakefield, MN. We had the rehearsal that night and spent the evening at our friend April's house. The next morning we packed up the car again and went to the wedding. Matt got married to a great gal named Sara and we got to meet her for the first time. We also to to see our friends Odi and Monica Christianson and their very cute daughter Paige.

The next morning Aaron was a sponsor for Gibson Haase's baptism. Gibson is the son of Mark Haase -- Aaron's cousin. Audrey got to meet some of the Haase's for the first time and people from church that Aaron has known since he was Audrey's age. Gibson is a little older than Audrey -- but weighs a lot more! He gave Aaron a little taste of what was to come!

After church we had a great lunch at Aaron's parents and then we headed into town to see our friends Chad and Emily. Emily is expecting a baby this fall so it was great to see her and her little "bump". We then headed to Mankato and stopped by Aaron's Aunt and Uncle's house. All of Aaron's mom's sisters were there, along with the cousins and a few uncles. It was great being able to see all of them.

After a few hours there we headed up to the Twin Cities for a relaxing night at the McNulty's. We stopped at Audrey's Great Grandpa and Grandma Rocknem's house when we got into town. The next morning Audrey's Great Grandmother Mimi came over for her first visit with Audrey. We then went to visit Anne's Aunt Charlotte. She had a "corner" of gifts for Audrey -- way too funny.

Aaron then headed back to Wisconsin for the week -- leaving behind Anne and Audrey for the week. Anne had a busy week while she was home.

Audrey got to meet a lot of new people while visiting Grandma and Grandpa McNulty. On Monday, Audrey got to meet all of the folks at St. Paul Agency. On Monday evening, the Gehrman girls and Christy came over. On Tuesday, Anne's friends Kristen and Kelly from college threw her a baby shower. On Wednesday, we got to spend time with Anne's friends Amy, Julie and Sarah and their little baby boys that were all born this year also. That evening, Anne's grandpa Cham and his wife Marcy came over for dinner. On Thursday, Anne's mom had an open house so friends and family could meet Audrey.

It was a fun filled and busy week! We still have lots going on this weekend too!!! Aaron is driving back to White Bear Lake on Friday night and we'll be heading back to Milwaukee on Monday.
