The weekend has come and gone. Audrey is a week old and we are now settling in for our first night on our own and the first night where Aaron has to work the next morning.
Aaron's parents, sister Leah and our niece Lydia were here over the very warm weekend. They were very excited to meet the newest member of the family. We took a few trips to some local parks, went on some walks and took lots of pictures. It was great to see them all. We hadn't seen Leah and Lydia since March -- and hopefully Audrey will get to meet Uncle Dan later this month on his way back from New York as he and Leah are moving to Rapid City, SD.
Audrey is starting to enjoy playing on her tummy a little more each day. She looks different everyday -- a testament to how fast they grow. We both laugh when we look back at pictures from just a week ago and notice how much she has changed!
It was great having Grandpa and Grandma Haase, Leah and Lydia out here over the weekend. We can't wait to seem they again. They made us some great meals and helped celebrate Aaron's first Father's Day. Although Anne was a little mad at Aaron on Sunday for breaking her camera at the park. Aaron promised to get it fixed -- he claims he didn't know how it happened....Men.
