Growing Little Girl

Another week has passed and Audrey is growing so much. We went to the doctor today for Audrey's two week weigh-in. She now weighs 7 lbs. 12 oz., so she has gained 1 lb. 6 oz. since being born. She is 20.5" now too! So it is good to know that she is eating and actually keeping some of it in her system -- we've had our doubts a few days. Audrey goes back tomorrow for her two week check up with the pediatrician. Audrey is still being extremely nice to us as far as the overnight hours are concerned. She usually wakes up once at about 1 am for a diaper change and a feeding. We won't complain about that -- and we hope it lasts!


Uncle Will met Audrey for the first time on Friday and then saw her again on Sunday as he and Grandpa and Grandma McNulty traveled back from Chicago where they attended a wedding. Grandma McNulty stayed behind and is a welcome helping hand. We went to the mall today for Audrey's first shopping experience. We doubt she even knew she went because she slept the entire time and didn't wake up until we got home. Aaron didn't complain about that though -- one less female in the family shopping is fine with him.

Our friends Christy and Jeremy also came for a visit on their way to Chicago for the wedding. It was nice to see them and to have them meet Audrey!
